The Black Eyed Peas are scheduled to rock Central Park’s Great Lawn in New York City on June 9th. The free concert, for which tickets have already been distributed, will also feature guest performers including LL Cool J, MC Hammer, Natasha Bedingfield, Debbie Harry and Carole King. Zach Braff, Whoopi Goldberg and Jimmy Smits are scheduled to make appearances.

The event is intended to raise funds for the anti-poverty Robin Hood Foundation and to help open three Black Eyed Peas’ Peapod Academies. During the concert, patrons will be asked to donate to the Foundation via text message. Though the 54,000 tickets have been claimed, VIP passes are available for $500, $1,000 and $2,500.

“We are thrilled to follow in the footsteps of icons such as Simon & Garfunkel and Diana Ross by performing a free concert for our fans in Central Park,” said Fergie in a statement. “But more importantly, we are performing to benefit Robin Hood’s efforts to help those living in poverty in New York City and to help disadvantaged youth in New York with the launch of our Peapod Academy.”
