“War is hell man.” I’ll tell you, Bart Simpson said it best. A war with Iraq is seemingly on the verge and MTV recently asked a few rappers what their take on the situation was. Personally, I would like to hear the opinions of Chuck D, KRS, Mr. Lif and Paris as well…

“Our government needs to mind their business,” DMC said. “We try to force our help [on others] when we should focus on fixing the problems here first. I don’t think we have the right to go over there and tell them what to do. Would we want someone telling us what to do?”

“It’s all over oil,” Fat Joe said. “The president comes from an oil-driven family, [and Saddam Hussein] is the same guy who [his father] tried to kill when he was president. We entrust our president to not be biased and… not [have] personal beef. I think this is personal beef.”
