Known mostly for “Throw Ya Gunz” and their 1993 top-five single, “Slam,” Queens Hip Hop group Onyx has released a collection of luxury sport rims. According to Extreme Auto Accessories in Jamaica, NY, an average pair of 20-inch rims—we inquired about the 902 model—can be purchased for about $1,000. Based on information obtained by HipHopDX, Onyx independently owns the company which manufactures the rims.
The current collection of Onyx rims is available in seven different models, with three different finishes in sizes of 20, 22 and 24 inches. More information is available via Onyxwheel.com.
In addition to six albums, members of Onyx have appeared in movies such as Sunset Park and dozens of television series including “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Blade” and Burn Notice.”
