Wu-Tang Clan rapper Raekwon took to the studio Thursday to record with Fred Durst for Limp Bizkit’s latest project, Gold Cobra. The Chef hit up his fans on Twitter to let everyone know about their plans to lay down a track. “Yeah, my session in [Los Angeles] have been goin’ good back in the kitchen with my dude [Fred Durst] we bout to make some music,” read the posting. Wu-Tang producer Mathematics is also rumored to be on the new Limp Bizkit album.

The Grammy Award-nominated rock band also enlisted the help of southern rapper Paul Wall to appear on the new album. Outside of making music with Limp Bizkit in the studio yesterday, the People’s Champ is also working on a new studio album himself titled The Heart of A Champion, which is scheduled for release this year.

Gold Cobra, Limp Bizkit’s fifth studio album, is slated to drop in the next coming months and will be the most recent album since their 2003 release of Result’s May Very.
