Busta Rhymes announced this week that he will be dropping his ninth solo album in the upcoming months. He told HipHollywood.com that the album is tentatively scheduled for a fourth of July release.
“[July 4th is] when it’s sizzling in these streets. I think that’s the most appropriate time to let go of this heat that I’m sitting on.”
Although he did not mention a title for the album, Busta implied that it is close to being done, as he is now adding the finishing touches. He had told other sources that it will be called The Chemo. The work will be released through Flipmode/Universal Motown, and according to what Busta told XXLMag.com last month, will include production from Drake associate Boi 1da.
