Gunplay Scolds Fans For Refunding Donations To His Daughter’s GoFundMe Over Rick Ross Chain

Gunplay has scolded fans who refunded their donations to his GoFundMe page for believing the proceeds were used to buy Rick Ross a chain, calling them “a piece of shit.”

The drama all started shortly after Gunplay and The Breakfast Club host DJ Envy traded shots back in May, which escalated after the former demanded an apology for bringing his newborn daughter’s GoFundMe page into Envy’s feud with Rick Ross.

The GoFundMe in question had been started by Gunplay’s partner to help cover their daughter’s medical bills following her emergency heart surgery in February.

The couple raised over $30,000, but Gunplay is now claiming that some of the donations were recently refunded after a video emerged of him gifting Rozay a new chain.

“Every single one of you pussy-ass hoes and fuck n-ggas that went to the GoFundMe and donated and went and got a motherfucking refund, you never gave it with your heart,” Gunplay angrily said in a new interview with We In Miami. “You’re a piece of shit. You’ll die that way.”

He continued: “People that see me give my brother a gift, they automatically want to say that I bought that with GoFundMe money. N-gga had to pay that back. So now, if you really want to be for real, my n-gga, if a n-gga spent that on a chain, how the fuck they got it right back instantly with no pressure?”

During DJ Envy’s vicious spat with Rick Ross last month, the radio hostcondemned Rozay for not publicly supporting Gunplay’s GoFundMe or helping take care of his child’s medical bills.

Gunplay didn’t like having his name mentioned and in turn demanded an apology via an intentionally leaked phone call, at one point threatening Envy with violence.

Elsewhere in his interview with the We In Miami podcast, Gunplay said his dispute with Envy is far from over, and openly challenged the DJ to a boxing match.

“He didn’t realize, you know, that I’ll slap the shit outta him,” he said. “Yo, Envy, wassup? Put on the gloves. Let’s get it!”

After Gunplay confirmed that he’d be up for a boxing match with Envy, he added: “We could do it and raise some money for charity, or whatever. He took a jab at my daughter’s situation, and had my wife pretty hurt about it.”

Gunplay’s wife, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, was also a guest on the show and took a moment to weigh in on the controversy.

“I’ve been seeing a therapist about all this,” she said. “Like, literally. I got the phone call from my father — my father listens to [The Breakfast Club] morning show — and he was like, ‘Is there a problem? Do I need to go up there about my granddaughter?’ And I’m like, what’s going on?”

She continued: “So I get on my daughter’s Instagram page and obviously, you know how trolls are, and they are coming crazy like, ‘Oh, you need to sign away your parental rights to Envy,” and I was very, very upset. It took me to a very traumatic space.”

The leaked phone call could potentially result in Gunplay facing up to five years in prison, as it’s against the law to record a person’s private phone call without their permission in the state of Florida.

    1. If he can afford to give his bed bound brother a chain then I’m sure he can afford to pay for the surgery

    2. Regardless if he used the donations to buy the chain, how r u gonna beg people for help like u bought the chain with money u had that could have gone towards the kid. How is he so out of touch with reality to c this

    3. They got refunds, not because of the chain, but because he gave the chain in front of a grown man in bed with his drawls. Hella suspect.

    4. It’s amazing that Gunplay doesn’t comprehend why someone would request a refund from GoFundMe. People donated because they thought Gunplay and his family were in need. If you can buy a grown ass man a chain, you clearly should have the money for your child’s surgery.

    5. So the man needs money for his kids surgery and starts a go fund me page to recieve help paying for it. He then gifts Rick Ross an extravagant chain worth a considerable amount and is upset that the people who donated their money wanted a refund? He should change his name to dumbplay. Also. What type of friend like Ross the parole boss who has so much money can’t/ won’t/ doesn’t help his boy out for his daughter?

    6. This whole thing is just funny. You never had money for heart surgery but you got some to get buy a chain for Ross? 😆 🤣

    7. Why don’t you gift the REAL Rick Ross a chain instead of this fake ass phony? Why are you kicking it with a straight up liar who pretends to be someone else that is actually still alive?

    8. I would take my money back too U clown, If U can buy a billionaire a diamond chain U can pay for Ur own daughter heart surgery dafuq🤷‍♀️ Everyone who donated should be refunded frfr. This guy works with all these rich ppl and buying gifts🎁 for rich ppl he shouldn’t have a GoFundMe asking for money from the barely getting by 9 to 5ers
