Griselda Records’ feature film debut Conflicted hit video on-demand providers on Friday (January 15) and fans aren’t getting it for free.
After a noted BSF fan wondered how he could watch the movie starring Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn, the Pray For Paris rapper responded simply with a link to the film – which comes with a $25 price tag.
The film, which co-stars Michael Rappaport, J. Holiday and Adiyon Dashalon, centers around an ex-con (Dashalon) attempting to re-route his life after a prison sentence and exit out of the drug game. However, like many a hood tale before him, the streets lure him right back. Conflcited is directed by AK Reed Films and Gunn and Benny serve as executive producers.
Similar to any big name Griselda release, Conflicted comes with a full-length soundtrack to match. Buoyed by Benny’s “3:30 In Houston,” the release features tracks from Lloyd Banks, Dave East, Boldy James and more.
One of those singles, “The Hurt Business,” finds one of Griselda’s favorite WWE fans in Gunn linking with two of Hip Hop’s more noted wrestling fans in Smoke DZA and Wale. Revisit the track below as well as the full trailer for Conflicted as well.
They trippin…I respect the hustle but nobody is paying that much for a movie Lmfaooo I don’t even pay that much for Netflix and Hulu combined each month!
This shit bigger than $25 clown
You the clown if you think another low budget fake movie about black men selling drugs to black people is some astonishing art and should be held in high regards.. They music is Dope, but gets boring hearing dudes lie about they past and weak minded people like you who also never lived that life take it further by dick riding and insulting people who tired of drug rap no matter who makes it..
My bad Fam I was replying to dude who called you a clown..I tried to delete it..
No. It’s much, much smaller than $.25 you low IQ dimwit. A horrible movie with D list actors and an awful script for more than it costs to watch Tenet or Wonder Woman. Great “bidness” plan. Spit right in the face of your fans.
Desperate
Yeah…I’ma pay $25 to watch these bad actors improv their way through a shi**y script and another generic “black guy sells drugs in the hood” unimaginative plot. No thanks.
The hate is strong in these comments today. May you find happiness because you can smell jealousy in your words.
Can’t afford it, don’t cop it..
The hate is real smfh ? now in days ain’t no support from our own kind but will support opposite side the oppressors come on now look at what’s going on in the world today open that third eye…your mind
These idiots. That FOR SURE is a horrible movie. They should have learned a lesson from Andrew Shultz and put it out for free on YouTube. They would have had hundreds of thousands or maybe millions of views had they dubbed and subtitles it in several languages. SMH. Oh well, that’s that ego and fake drug dealer business sense.
$25! I’m Conflicted.
This movie can be found on the firestick apps for free…..fuck payin for it.
im not gonna lie,im conflicted(no pun intended).im a fan of the music and the movement.i will pay for good product….if i hear the movie is worth the money,i will support it….but im not supporting a bad product
Smh why even comment if you can’t afford shit?! Like yall never paid/wasted $25 on bullshit before. Smh the pandemic showing who really can’t eat our chea. I just touched down in Buffalo, cold as shit! Watching (paying for) the movie in a hot second. Support your own people sometimes ? #cbf4life
