Future’s reign continues as his EVOL album is certified gold by the RIAA. The LP was officially given the recognition of 500,000 units sold on September 15.
The Freebandz leader’s “Low Life” single, which features The Weeknd, also received an award as it was acknowledged as double platinum earlier this month with two million units sold.
Future has flexed throughout 2016, first with his Purple Reign mixtape, then with the EVOL album, the follow-up to Dirty Sprite 2. EVOL debuted at the top of Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart as an Apple Music exclusive upon its February release.
The Atlanta rapper is currently traveling on the Summer Sixteen Tour with Drake, and is prepping Beast Mode 16 with Zaytoven, which the mega-producer says is finished.
