Finesse2Tymes has been accused of using an impersonator to perform for him at a recent show.

On Friday (May 5), footage surfaced of an unknown man performing his hit song “Black Visa” featuring Moneybagg Yo at a show in Huntsville, Alabama. The man was wearing a black ski mask and all of the Memphis rapper’s jewelry, but according to those in attendance, they claim it was allegedly Finesse2Tymes’ brother as opposed to him.

After the show, XXL reported that there was video footage of Finesse2Tymes arguing on FaceTime with a party promoter about the show. In a now deleted-Instagram story, Finesse2Tymes said in a statement that he was in attendance but he couldn’t perform and that he had an opening act perform first.

“I let my opening act come on stage,” he said. “That n-gga was drunk and full of that Fentanyl and damn-near died. I’m gone.” Huntsville, I showed up tonight and due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn’t able to perform. But I got y’all @bodeanjohnson @awardboomin on the next show in Huntsville and surrounding areas.”

One of the promoters from the show, Kendra Fletcher, released a statement on Facebook which was obtained by XXL.

“So the mfs really gon bring a MF that’s not Finesse2Tymes my brother BIG V that brought him have every right to be mad,” Fletcher said.

“N-gga made a drop and everything Hell I’m mad for him cause he paid that man 20k UPFRONT got the receipt and 20k on the back end that lil bitch with the short blonde hair they brought with the FAKE took the money from him that he gave to him in the back I SEEN IT with my own eyes and drove TF off when everybody was trying to stop the car they was in OUTSIDE as they was pullin off. This is not the only music-related incident Finesse2Tymes has been involved in recently.

Last month, Finesse2Tymes threatened City Girls‘ JT after she called him “ugly” on social media.

The spat started after JT’s boyfriend, Lil Uzi Vertresponded to the backlash over their new alter ego, Leslie, whose gender-fluid appearance and mannerisms have divided fans.

A fan then took to the comments section of The Shade Room‘s post to tag JT, claiming she’s “taking City Girls down” by dating the androgynous rapper.

After seemingly checking out the woman’s Instagram page, JT clapped back on Thursday (April 20) by writing: “ugly baby and dead father.”

In response to another Instagram user who suggested she crossed the line by mocking the woman’s child and deceased parent, the “Act Up” hitmaker doubled down by comparing the baby to Finesse2Tymes.

“That baby looks like finesse 2 x’s,” she wrote. “Please leave me alone. I’m not bothering no one.”

Finesse2Tymes later fired back at JT on his Instagram Stories, refuting her suggestion that he wasn’t blessed with good looks.

“Aye, JT, what you talking about ugly?” he said in a video. “Oooh, word? What you talking about ugly? Oooh, how you say it? City Girls just went down.”

He then threatened the Miami native, writing in a separate Story: “Guess she mad cause I said I can’t do nun wit no skinny ho. Just don’t know, I’ll throw u in the air and ‘BREAK U’ before u hit the ground.”

Also, Finesse2Tymes along with GloRilla may be facing legal action in connection to a stampede following show in March 2023 in Rochester, New York that left three women dead.

Speaking to TMZ after the incident, Finesse2tymes said that he felt like he was being unfairly targeted by those who sought to hold him accountable for the events following his performance in Rochester.

“When it go on anywhere else, don’t nobody get blamed. When it go on at my show, I get blamed,” he said while laughing the idea off. “Sometimes when you winnin’ and you don’ won so fast… Right now I’m like a creative player on an NBA game or something. So it’s like I’m frowned upon like how people [get] mad when you play with a creative player.”

Asked whether he felt that he might have to deal with any legal ramification in connection with the situation, Finesse said he thought it was unlikely.

“I think it was a situation where something failed,” he explained. “And just people started running, things got out of control and innocent people got hurt, but it wasn’t nothing violent going on.”
