In the wake of Juice Wrld‘s tragic passing, Fat Joe has joined the Hip Hop community’s outcry against drug abuse.
During a recent interview with Wendy Williams, Joey Crack was asked whether he knew the 21-year-old rapper.
“I only met him one time,” he said. “He was such a beautiful kid. He was so respectful when I met him, and I was just like, ‘Yo, this is a real good kid.’ So, rest in peace, Juice Wrld.”
He then seized the moment to speak out on pill addiction. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]
“But they gotta stop!” he exclaimed, before delving into how the perception was different back then. “When we was younger, we would go smoke crack. But you knew you was copping rock cocaine, or you knew you was copping heroin – you knew it was disgusting!”
Speaking on today’s perception of drugs, he adds, “So now, what happens with these pills, being that there prescribed, these kids don’t think they’re pill-heads or crackheads, or they’re nothing.
“[Nowadays they think] ‘It’s legal; it’s cool! We can do as much of it as we want.’ And that’s a big understatement because all these kids are dying.”

Joe continues describing the bleak reality of the situation and the need to especially protect those living in poorer circumstances.
“Everyday in the Bronx, all these kids are dying – overdosing off of pills,” he says. “We gotta try watch these kids as much as we can, ’cause it’s sad … This kid was filthy rich and died at 21 years old, on a private plane!”
Joyner Lucas also recently spoke out, criticizing “rappers who glorified taking drugs and made it cool,” while Trippie Redd said, “If it ain’t weed, we ain’t doing it no more.”
Although Juice Wrld’s official cause of death is yet to be confirmed, he reportedly swallowed several Percocet pills prior to the fatal seizure.
And it’s not just pills …you got younger people downtown in metropolitan cities gone off that T and wet. Blows my mind because growing up I mostly associated and witnessed older people with hard drugs like hard and heroin. Getting younger and younger gotta get the spirit of worldliness out of them… parents gotta be parents and stop being homies. And homies not homies anymore, they just partners in helping get high or drunk
So Fat Joe has been a public figure for over 20 years and nobody ever knew this about him. Not sure if this is the point he was making, but maybe things are better when rappers and other influencers are discreet about their indiscretions instead of glorifying the drug use like it’s s cool thing. I’ll keep saying it, Lil Wayne was a huge part of making prescription drugs cool for the urban youth, and he should be held accountable.
Please atop spreading this falsehood. He dis not say HE smoked crack. When he said back inbthe day we smoked. It was a general we. Meaning thats what was happening back then. But if you rewind to thw beginning of the interview he CLEARLY says he never dis drugs and he drinks on occasion. But they edited the video to start at the crack comment even tho they posted the entire interview. Smh shame on you. Knowing most would not rewind the to tue beginning of the interview
I peeped when the false article was originally published before they corrected the headline after the fact. I called them out for clickbait and my comment magically disappeared, lol! Funny thing is that they’ll let racist trolls post shit all day but remove a comment that’s critical of their work.
Yeah mine got removed too for calling them out on claiming Joe said he smoked crack. A straight-up lie for clicks.
So who’s gonna step to the Don and tell him to shut the fuck up like they did Joyner Lucas? Also he never said “he” smoked crack…to not understand the context of what he said proves you’re a dumbfuck
Juice WRLD wasn’t a kid. Did he start popping pills when he was in junior high or is Fat Joe just being an idiot calling anyone over 18 a kid? It’s about time we stop treating these big ass overgrown druggies kids. Ship their asses off the the Army and straighten them out. Maybe they have too much free time.
He was a kid. So are you. Once you become grown man status you realize the mentality of people also makes them kids not just their age.
Joyner Lucas – Mask off Remix Mask on!!! Enuff said… A real rapper!
