Eminem’s ‘Doomsday 2’ Benzino Diss Gets Boost From All-Star Cast In Desolate New Video

Eminem reignited his multi-decade beef with Benzino earlier this year with the release of “Doomsday 2” via Lyrical Lemonade, and he’s now released a star-studded music video for it.

On Wednesday (March 13), the Detroit MC dropped a color-coded visual for the track to match the brand’s yellow theme. Furthermore, the knockout tune gets an extra boost thanks to countless cameos.

Directed and edited by Cole Bennett, the clip features appearances from Denzel Curry, Teezo Touchdown, BabyTron, JID, Swae Lee and Cordae, all of whom are featured on Lyrical Lemonade’s All Is Yellow album released in January. Additionally, Big Sean also shows up briefly in a cut.

Check out the video for “Doomsday 2” below:

Eminem and Benzino’s long-running beef, which dates back to the early 2000s, was brought back to life thanks to the aforementioned track. On it, the self-proclaimed Rap God mocks his rival’s financial woes and physical stature.

Over a sample of his classic hit “Role Model,” the Detroit MC raps: “Now I got a riddle, one condition, you mustn’t laugh/ What is the opposite of Benzino? A giraffe/ ‘Go at his neck,’ how the fuck is that?/ How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have?

The “I got a riddle” construction comes from a much earlier Eminem diss of Benzino titled “Armageddon” from the 2004 mixtape, Invasion Part III: Countdown to Armageddon.

Benzino soon hit back with two separate diss songs, “Vulturius” and “Rap Elvis.” Then soon after, he broke down while discussing the feud during a Drink Champs interview, but then went back to his old ways and called Em “overrated” just days later.

Most recently, he criticized Em’s production work on the posthumous 2Pac album, Loyal to the Game, which placed Slim Shady beats under the late rapper’s vocals.

“I think the shit that he did with ‘Pac was horrible,” Zino said in an interview with The Art of Dialogue. “I think that was a disgrace.”

The former co-owner of The Source continued: “I think he should have never had ‘Pac’s lyrics to do it. I understand at the time, Afeni [Shakur], maybe it was a money thing. He probably paid for that, because that there was the closest that he would be to ‘Pac.

“But that was another insult on our culture and community, what he did with that album. That was trash … He should have never got the okay to play with ‘Pac’s voice like that, and his legacy.”

    1. Salty tears dripping down Ford Focuzino’s eyes can’t even find his neck. Fucking BUM! Dope video.

      1. No one was trying to square-dance to Pac and Obie Trice rhyming over an accordion. Loyal to the Game was SUPER TRASH.

    2. HasBenzino is going to stroke the fuck out at this one. He is a weak little boy who has the mentality and maturity of a 12 year old (and i’m being generous). I can not wait for his response to this. I’m gonna buy stock in Kleenex.

    3. The game said all that shit about you and you go in on benzino and coi ? Bro you showing how wack you really are
