Drake Credits Shiggy For Taking “In My Feelings” To No. 1 On Billboard Hot 100

Drake was in the City of Angels on Monday night (July 16) and caught up with internet comedian Shiggy, who he credits with helping “In My Feelings” land at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Oh my goodness,” Drake said while filming Shiggy. “Oh my goodness. Man got me a No. 1 record today. Oh my god!”

Shiggy replies, “We got a No. 1 record today!”

With Shiggy’s lead, “In My Feelings” spawned the internet dance challenge — identified by #InMyFeelings or #DoTheShiggyThe Shiggy Show online personality kicked off the social media craze two weeks ago after he put his “Shiggy Moves” on the Scorpion track and shared a video with his 1.4 million Instagram followers.

The challenge inspired Will Smith to climb to the top of a bridge in Budapest, Hungary to do the shiggy. Other celebrities like Ciara, Trippie Redd, Rev. Al Sharpton and Odell Beckham, Jr. also joined in.

“In My Feelings” set another record for Drake. After the song hit No. 1 this week, he became the rapper with the most songs to ever top the Billboard Hot 100.

“God’s Plan,” “Nice For What” and “In My Feelings” — all from his latest album Scorpion — reached No. 1 at some point over the past six months. [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

    1. In other news: Drake continues to pretend he didn’t steal XXX’s flow, even after sending an sms triple xxx

        1. Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the Drake stans who still comment about Push every time a Drake article drops.

          1. That’s how we know it bothers them that he took an L. I actually look forward to the comments since it makes the L linger even longer and I actually like Drake LMAO

    2. HHdX exclusive!! Drake is actually one of the robotic animals at Chuck E. Cheese. Also, Drake farted.

        1. Incorrect. I’m laughing hysterically at the situation, specifically at Pusha T. Has Daytona even been certified Gold yet? Last I heard, Push entered the charts at no. 3 with 77k units sold, behind garbage-ass Post Malone. That’s fucking embarrassing.

    3. Pusha is a wordsmith & Re-up gang was hot!! Ab liva, sandman, malice etc. They had a incredible run. Even when listening to that I knew that the drug raps weren’t real, that pusha grew up in the suburbs, and that real ones in virginia were upset that pusha was rapping about their lives that he never lived. There was conflict on the grinding’ video shoot, google it. Once he went solo and got older the drug raps just got old…..after him assuming the role as pawn to attack drake after drake just helped pushas label just for a weak album roll out was just scrubby & petty and respect was completely lost for terrance. Real hustlers dont respect that. hope you “real hip hop” heads know what your talking about when you talk up pusha – and know that drakes subject matter is 100% authentic vs what pusha raps about – adidon was a reach to keep pusha above water and it has come back to bite him and ye hard

      1. L..its not 100% authentic..he’s not writing that whiney bitch made bullshit. Blackface Drake…L

    4. Drake is a fraud who uses ghostwriters. He took a L in rap to Pusha T and his legacy will forever be tainted. No matter how many records he sales he’ll never be mentioned with the all time greats like Nas, Pac, BIG, Rakim, etc.

    5. Everyone has different taste as how hip hop should sound but ya’gotta give it to Drake his putting hip hop at #1

    6. The topic of this article makes sense, in connection on why the pusha t and drake battle ended the way it did.
