Diddy has reportedly dropped his $60 million lawsuit against his former clothing line Sean John as he continues to battle multiple sexual assault allegations.

Sean Combs founded the brand, which uses his first and middle names, in 1998 before selling a 90 percent stake to Global Brands Group in 2016.

In 2021, the Bad Boy boss filed a number of lawsuits against the company, claiming they misused his image and likeness to market Sean John clothing without his consent.

Diddy also accused Global Brands Group of using his image without permission in a marketing collaboration with clothes manufacturer Missguided, while he also tried to secure the trademark to “vote or die,” which he claims the company attempted to exploit.

The Harlem-born mogul later took back control of the company, purchasing it for just $7.5 million following Global Brands Group’s bankruptcy but continued his legal fight.

He has now voluntarily dismissed all claims and counterclaims involving the case, according to AllHipHop.

The news comes after Diddy had his honorary key to New York rescinded by the city’s mayor Eric Adams after video footage leaked of him assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie.

Diddy was served letters from the mayor’s office who said they were “deeply disturbed” by the CCTV footage of him assaulting the singer in a hotel in 2016.

Adams added in the letter that he stands with survivors of domestic abuse, and outlined that the key is used to recognize outstanding citizens. The mayor noted that the Bad Boy mogul no longer fits the criteria.

The New York city chief also provided an address to which Diddy could return the keys. This move marked the first time a key to the Big Apple has been rescinded.

Diddy reportedly received the letter on June 4 and returned the honor on June 10.

Adams had previously stated he was looking into whether a key to the city could be rescinded during a TV interview.

“I think all of us were deeply disturbed by watching that chilling video of the young lady being assaulted by him,” he said. “The committee and the team, we’ve never rescinded a key before, but we are now sitting down to see what the next steps forward are going to be.”

Asked again, in more direct fashion, if he was considering taking the honor away, Adams replied: “We are taking everything under analysis and the team will come back [to] me with a final determination.”
