Kanye West and Lil Durk are set to go head to head on February 22 when they drop their respective albums DONDA 2 and 7220. Most people will be picking sides while others will just enjoy all the new music that’s coming out, but one person, in particular, is making sure he’s not being left out of the mix.
On Tuesday (February 8), Boosie Badazz took to his Twitter account to announce he’ll be dropping a brand new album alongside Durkio and Ye. The album is the follow-up to his Summer 2021 album Goat Talk 3.
“IM DROPPING MY ALBUM THE SAME DAY AS @kanyewest n @lildurk 2/22/22 #heartfelt 2/22/22,” Boosie wrote in his tweet.
There’s not a lot of information regarding Boosie’s upcoming album besides the title being called Heartfelt. Boosie Badazz later tweeted the alleged album cover that finds the cameraman capturing a side profile of the rapper while he’s posing in the middle of some smoke.
According to Kanye West, February 22 has a special meaning which he explained in an Instagram Story last month.
“According to the stars, the United States is finally getting a spiritual makeover with its first-ever Pluto Return on Feb. 22, 2022. Astrologically, a Pluto return is when the heavenly body returns to the same position in a birth chart where it was when the chart began,” Kanye’s IG Story read.
Despite all the excitement surrounding the day, fans are still skeptical about Kanye and his history of not releasing albums on time. DONDA was late by 401 days, and it’s not the only album Kanye has been late to the party with.
Thee totally different styles here. I dont think anybody who listens to one of these guys listens to the other two. This whole thing about billboard is getting stupid.
U live on this site ? Go back to north Dakota and stfu…go eat them hotdogs ?
A few things:
1. There won’t be a showdown because Kanye isn’t dropping on that day (I hope he does though).
2. Why will “most people pick sides” when durk and ye have love and probably have fans in common. There is no beef, no competition, not that many will be arguing over what was better.
3. Nobody cares about Boosie
You dumb if you think boosie don’t have a following. He not mainstream and doesn’t cater to radio or the pop market like klownye. Bossie has his own following and those followers don’t listen to klownye.
Yeah, that would explain why he keep flopping and he ranted about his terrible sales on Instagram, so he had to run to Twitter and talk crap about a gay black dude as a desperate attempt for support while pointing fingers saying “HE DID IT FIRST!!!” while yelling “PROTECT YOUR KIDS” despite the pedo crap he said months prior.
YEA you must be gay since you all up in yo feelings and BOOSIE does have a large fan base and he built that without going all commercial. That man said what he said and stood on it. At least he ain’t fold like half these wannabe gangsters and thugs do.
You a clown get out ya feelings!!! BOOSIE does have a large fan base and that man said what he said Period!!!
Not a fan of Bossie music at all but he does have a decent fanbase through out the South especially Louisiana, Tx, Miss, Ark, hot spots like Memphis. It’s a lot of places in between these major cities that people tend to forget about.
DRDD will be 100 levels above all of em digital roses dont die krizzle 2/18
100% Agreed, but it won’t be talked about or appreciated. I think Krit has the best body of work in the last decade out of all
