Polo G has apparently heard Lil Durk’s new album. The Chicago rapper took to Twitter on Wednesday (February 2) and claimed Durk is packing some serious heat on his upcoming project 7220.

“Smurk Played Me His Album Last night…4nem gat sum shit fasho,” Polo G tweeted. “Real crack.”

Lil Durk himself confirmed on Tuesday (February 1) his new project 7220 was finally wrapped and promised it would have “all anthems and no skips.”

“7220 my granny address the house it all started in,” Durk wrote on Instagram followed by a dolphin emoji. “Album done.”

Lil Durk also announced he’s heading out on the road solo to support the new project in 2022 after touring alongside his Voice of the Heroes collaborator Lil Baby in 2021.

On Wednesday (February 2), Durkio shared the 7220 Tour will kick off on April 8 in Phoenix, Arizona. From there, he’ll head to Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, New York, Pittsburgh and more before concluding in his hometown of Chicago.

Tickets went on sale via Ticketmaster on January 13, and Lil Durk has yet to name openers on the 2022 trek or even confirm whether the album will arrive before or after the tour.

If what Polo G tweeted turns out to be true, then the OTF head is set to have a crazy 2022. It’s already looking to be another stellar year for Durk, who recently joined 50 Cent and fellow Chicago singer Jeremih to craft the Power Book IV: Force theme song “Power Powder Respect” for Fif’s upcoming series.
