Benny The Butcher has revealed he’s finally seen the movie Cocaine Bear, but he thinks the film could’ve been much better with the addition of his music.

On Wednesday (March 22), the Black Soprano Family boss took to Twitter to let his followers know that he caught a showing of the Elizabeth Banks-directed flick, which tells the story of a bear who ingests a massive amount of cocaine and goes on a murderous binge.

The film is right up the Buffalo native’s alley with the number of references to the drug and Benny wasted no time letting fans know the film should’ve incorporated his cocaine-fueled music.

“Finally watched Cocaine Bear,” Benny wrote on his Twitter. “A Benny song would’ve made that movie so much better.”

Cocaine Bear was released in February 2023 and stars O’Shea Jackson Jr., Keri Russell, Alden Ehrenreich, the late Ray Liotta and more.

The film received mixed reviews from critics but has grossed $76million worldwide off a $30–35 million budget. The film is loosely inspired by the events surrounding a 175-pound (79 kg) American black bear that died after ingesting a duffel bag full of cocaine in December 1985.

While Benny The Butcher is looking to land some music in a movie, he’s getting ready to embark on his next international tour. Last week, he took to Instagram to share the flyer for his upcoming Thank God I Made It World Tour. The flyer shows an animated version of Benny floating in a body of water with ducks swimming nearby.

Benny’s tour will begin on April 20 in Baltimore, Maryland before heading to Norfolk, Virginia, Worcester, Massachusetts, and Hartford, Connecticut. From there, he will make the trek overseas and hit up Ireland, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece, Israel, Poland and the Netherlands to close it out.
