50 Cent & Starz Announce 3 More ‘Power’ Spinoffs

The story of 50 Cent’s Power isn’t ending with its series finale on Sunday (February 9). Starz has greenlit three additional spinoffs of the hit show, expanding the franchise to a total of five series.

Power’s first offshoot, Power Book II: Ghost, was announced last year. The upcoming drama will now be joined by Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Influence and Power Book V: Force.

“In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time,” Starz’s president CEO Jeffrey Hirsch said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set Power in a class of its own.”

50 and Power creator Courtney A. Kemp will executive produce all of the spinoffs. Mary J. Blige and Method Man have been cast in Power Book II: Ghost, which 50 says could debut as early as June 2020.

No official premiere dates for any of the spinoffs have been announced. The original Power’s final episode is already available to watch on-demand but will broadcast on Starz at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sunday night.

    1. Don’t believe in watching anything that has something to do with anything for a headline 50 ain’t worth 2cents.

        1. It was literally missing ONE comma lol. Could u really not read that the right way in your head easily? Or do u need help?

    2. Great….now 4 tv series that Nick Cannon, Vlad, and French Montana won’t watch. Getting hard out here for 50 haters.

    3. I guess you all cant read there are 5 power spinoff comming not 3 hahaha. Book 2 3 4 5 and a prequel. That’s 5 not 3

    4. As a fan of the show, the series had a great run, these 6 seasons were great from beginning 2 end. Unfortunately, every 1 that sits in those boardrooms, including the creator Courtney Kemp, need 2 let it go and realize that this is it. I’m sorry but these spinoffs don’t look appealing whatsoever nor do they even spark my interest. Like the saying goes, “All good things must eventually come 2 an end.” It was the same w/ alot of great shows like G.O.T., Breaking Bad, Survivor’s Remorse, etc. Power needs 2 do the same. Welp, time 2 sit back & wait 4 the following…Snowfall, Insecure, Ballers, Atlanta, & Curb Your Enthusiasm.
