21 Savage has implied that he’s the best rapper from the UK as part of yet another trolling antic to promote his and Drake‘s new joint album Her Loss.
In a faux interview with Howard Stern to promote their new record, Drizzy and 21 Savage answered a multitude of strange questions, including their personal porn preferences, and at one point Stern asked 21 if he feels connected to his birthplace of London, UK.

The question was in reference to 21 Savage being detained by ICE officials in 2019. The agents arrested the “a lot” rapper because he had allegedly been residing in the United States illegally, and 21 later came out and admitted he resided in Britain until he was 7 years old.
“Yeah I feel like I relate to a lot of cultures because of that, like because I’m born in London but all my family migrated from the West Indies and shit,” 21 Savage said. “So it’s like, I’m damn near like Gumbo when it comes to culture for real. I feel like.”

Drizzy chimed in: “That’s crazy. I mean you know my answer obviously that place is everything to me.”
21 continued: “But I might be the greatest rapper from my country too though.”
“Yo you know a lot of people say that though, right?” Drake reaffirmed. “A lot of people are like ‘Yo you’re like the pride of London’ and shit.”

If 21 Savage really claimed to be the best rapper from the UK, he’d have a lot of competition, including Skepta, Stormzy, Dave, Little Simz and Slowthai, just to name a few.
The phony Stern sitdown is just the latest trolling antic the pair have done since announcing their joint album Her Loss in October. The duo also teased a fake Tiny Desk concert, and a fake Vogue cover, all of which fans initially believed to be real.

NPR’s Bob Boilen dismissed the authenticity of Drake’s Tiny Desk post but invited the 6 God to put his money where his mouth is.
“Drake, let’s make this real,” Boilen wrote on his Instagram Story alongside a screenshot of Drizzy’s fake performance. “Open invitation to play my desk. @nprmusic the Desk awaits @champagnepapi.”
Drizzy and 21 initially wanted to drop Her Loss on October 28 but ended up pushing back the project out of respect for Noah “40” Shebib, who contracted COVID-19 while working on the tape. The project now drops on Friday (November 4), and Drake unveiled the project’s cover art on Thursday (November 3).
The new record has seemingly caused A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie to delay his album. The rapper announced he’d be delaying the release of Me Vs. Myself because he didn’t want any smoke with the duo’s new tape.
