Dough-Boy is back!

The Hong Kong rapper surprised fans with the release of his latest experimental album, Departure. The eight-track record features a roster of collaborators, such as Tizzy T, Tommy Grooves, and more. In an Instagram post announcing the release, the rapper-producer shared, “I spent most of my life deeply invested in music. […] Then as time went by, this musician/producer/rapper life that I wanted to live so bad doesn’t feel so cool anymore.”

He continues by sharing his disenchantment with the music industry, and that he “forced myself to find that right feeling this time. It gets harder at this [sic] day and age but I wanna try to keep chasing that feeling for as long as I can.”

The award-winning rapper also explains that his latest album’s tracks are named after popular song titles from the 2000s “to commemorate a time when music felt special” to him.
