Jay Park answered more fan questions in the latest #AskJayPark session on Twitter earlier this week (January 30). The South Korean-American rapper, producer, singer, and entrepreneur shares life advice, teases the sounds for a new album, and talks about trying Filipino food.

A fan asked him about whether he’s tried Filipino food, to which he replied: “Of course. Lumpia is bomb.”

He also got candid about how it was like meeting Roc Nation founder and American rapper Jay-Z. In 2017, Park made headlines for being the first Asian-American signed to the label. A fan shared an old photo of the artist with Jay-Z at a Roc Nation brunch, writing: “It was surreal but I felt all too comfortable and at the same time like I’m meant to be there. Hard to explain.”

For fans, he also teased about what his new album would sound like, saying it would veer towards “pop and R&B.”

The artist also jokes with fans about the second installment of Buzzfeed’s CelebritiesReading Thirst Tweets series, shares his “big plans” in the coming year, and even a song he thinks is “super slept on” from his 2016 album, Everything You Wanted. Early this year, Park deactivated his Instagram account and stepped down as CEO of AOMG and H1GHR Music. He’s only been active on Twitter since.
