頑童MJ116’s 大淵MUTA rips through the streets of Taiwan in his latest video, “過得爽爽 Phat Life,” the title track to his newly released album of the same name.
The Taiwanese rapper shows his love for cars “to the point of madness,” as he often drives up to the winding mountain roads at night for its “liberating” feeling. One of those nighttime drives inspired the song.
Moreover, “過得爽爽 Phat Life” also parallels 大淵MUTA’s long-winding trips to his own journey as a musician, recalling that his mother “still shed tears on the day of contract signing,” his family worried about the uncertainties of a music career. Ten years later, he considers those early doubts and his earnestness to do well instrumental for motivating him to do the hard work and “having a good time.”
The 10-track 過得爽爽 Phat Life is 大淵MUTA’s first official solo album, which includes previously released singles, “FatBoyGang” and “山山 SUNSHINE” featuring Tipsy.
