Native to Memphis, TN, Duke Deuce dropped his first mixtape Deuce Live Music in 2016. Thereafter, he released a mixtape installment called Memphis Massacre. Known for doing the popular Memphis dance “jooking” in his music videos, he rose to prominence with his single “Yeh," but garnered more traction with the release of his single “Crunk Ain’t Dead” in 2019 — which has over 29 million views on YouTube. The track went even more viral with a remix featuring rap legends like Juicy J, Project Pat and Lil Jon. The single was the lead track on Duke Deuce’s third mixtape Memphis Massacre 2. He signed to Quality Control Music x Motown Records in January 2021 and released his debut album Duke Nukem in February 2021, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart.
