HipHopDX Premiere: Boston MC and EMS frontman M-Dot is back with a new visual for “Foreign,” which dives into the love-hate relationship he has with the information age, something he calls a “double edged sword.” In his eyes, social media is able to both connect and disconnect.

Directed by David Heitzmann, the video is shot in Brooklyn and set to an ominous beat crafted by frequent collaborator Jon Glass. The track comes from M-Dot’s most recent album, Ego and the Enemy.

Walking down the dark, seemingly empty streets, M-Dot raps with confidence, “My breath is the flu/ spreading the truth/ I’m better than you … my dome’s a test of physics.”

“Foreign” serves as the sixth video from Ego and the Enemy, a well curated project that finds production from illustrious beatmakers like Hi-Tek, Large Professor, Marley Marl, Buckwild, Khrysis, M-Phazes, Marco Polo, 7L, !llmind, G Koop, J Rawls, Da Beatminerz and Snowgoons.
