Third Man Pressing, Jack White’s new record pressing plant, celebrated the grand opening with a proper private party, which was held in White’s hometown of Detroit over the weekend.

Before the evening closed, fellow Detroit native Danny Brown performed a brief set and called White one of his heroes in an Twitter post. White also christened the new pressing plant with a toast, “Remember this moment, because we’re making things beautiful last for the next generation,” he said.

Housed in the back of Third Man’s Motor City shop, the plant is able to pump out 5,000 records every eight hours. Check out the video of Third Man Pressing above, and clips of Brown’s performance and White’s toast below.
