After gracing us with the new single, “I’m Better,” last week, Missy Elliott returns with a trailer for a forthcoming documentary, which features notable characters who have played pivotal roles in her career such as Busta Rhymes and Pharrell Williams. Both speak on her uniqueness and fiery work ethic.
“She came out of nowhere and just completely blew people away,” Pharrell says in one scene, and Busta Rhymes adds “She just came out of nowhere with this frenzy of not only being a dope female MC, but being unlike any other female MC prior to her.”
Although details are scarce, considering this is the second Missy offering in the past week, there will presumably be more to add to the conversation shortly. Until then, watch the trailer above.
