It’s been at least a year since we’ve heard any solo material from the one and only Missy Elliott. After dropping “Pep Rally” in 2016, she went back underground, and only popped up for a handful of collaborations, including “Ghostbusters” with (of all bands) Fall Out Boy and “Strive” with A$AP Ferg.
It appears, however, her urge for musical output can no longer be contained. The Hip Hop vet has resurfaced with “I’m Better” featuring Lamb, which proves why she’s “better” than trap rappers.
