HipHopDX Premiere: While on a trip to Seoul, South Korea, New York native and Los Angeles transplant Koncept decided to roll out his latest video for “Understand Me” featuring frequent collaborator Mike Two. However, what initially was supposed to be a two-week overseas trip ended up becoming much more.
“I ended up getting booked for a bunch more in different cities around the country, which led to me pushing my flight back a few weeks,” Koncept tells DX. “In that time of playing those shows, I worked out a deal with Sony Music Asia, and I’m working on a new album out here with them that will be released early spring. I’m also setting up a full tour around the release through Asia and then a world tour for the summer. I’m excited to release a ton of new music this year.”
