Beginning with a curious tweet from Mac Miller about a song called “Hurt Me Now,” the investigation into who exactly Gnarly Davidson is began. It turns out the song was actually the first single from Goodie Mob affiliate CeeLo Green‘s new Gnarly Davidson persona. Now that the cat is out of the proverbial bag, he’s released a new video for “F*** Me, I’m Famous,” which features a miniature CeeLo kicking back with several bikini-clad ladies as he sings along to the funky beat.
In June, Green told The Herald News Gnarly Davidson is a solo project with a sound similar to Gnarls Barkley, and that he would eventually release a mixtape under the name. He explained a little bit about the project after a cell phone apparently blew up in his face, which was intended to be promotion for the new project.
