URL returned to Irving Plaza in November for the sixth edition of the “Night Of Main Events” series, and the battle between Tsu Surf and T-Top lived up to its billing.

North Carolina’s T-Top has established himself as battle rap’s newest top tier MC since being the standout newcomer in 2014, and over the last couple of years has taken on bigger and bigger names and met the challenge each time.

Here he goes up against Newark, New Jersey’s Tsu Surf, who has his best solo showing of the year. Despite a third-round choke from Surf, many fans are still giving him the battle based on the strength of his first two. He brings a high-level of lyricism with dense wordplay and intricate patterns, which T-Top meets with more explosive punches that ignite the crowd.
