Hailing from Scotty ATL’s Daily Bread project, “Stupid Rich” is an emotionally introspective track about the struggles of everyday life. In the accompanying (mostly) black and white visuals, the song is seemingly given more depth thanks to its cinematic counterpart. To set the tone for “Stupid Rich,” the young rapper recruited the aid of the legendary Cory Mo, whose work with UGK has impacted the sound of Southern Hip Hop.

Shot in Eugene, Oregon, the video is his way of coming to grips and finding a resolution to the trauma of losing four people close to him, and transforming it into the triumphant Daily Bread release. Watch it above.
