Boogz Boogetz has released a constant stream of projects stretching all the way back to 2009. Getting chances to work alongside Wiz Khalifa, Chinx and eventually a joint project with Prodigy, the emcee representing Rockaway Queens is all about being as authentic as possible. Rap fans and many within the music industry have been waiting for Boogz to release his first monster hit.

Well, it looks and sounds like he just did.

Keeping that in mind, he’s dropped the first hit single “Bodega” from his upcoming top secret untitled project (Release date TBD). Filmed across several Bodegas around New York, Boogz just wanted to represent his everyday life according to a statement. The track produced by Nick Jr. On The Beat has the rapper bringing that Trap sound to the streets of New York while showing off the rapper’s unique rhymes and flow. Also look out for a special cameo from “Shooter Shane” who stars on Tidal exclusive series  Money & Violence.

“It’s just representing where I come from. Everything from the lifestyle, where we hang out at, smoke weed and hustle.”

Alongside the upcoming mixtape, Boogz is also set to drop a collaborative project with Harry Fraud in the fall.
