HipHopDX Exclusive Premiere: Hot on the heels of his new single “Blackout” featuring Madchild, Mugg Shot returns with a brand new video for “Who Am I” directed by Stuey Kubrick in Red Deer, AB. The video is the first clip from Mugg Shot’s new album Mean Muggin that drops on September 16 and features tracks with Madchild, Mike Jones, Alpha Omega, Merkules, and Gorilla Zoe.
Mugg states, “The song ‘Who Am I’ is a self-conscious track talking about my past, which later goes into talking about my future. Ranging from past struggles I had, to present day successes, this is one of the first tracks I’ve done giving the audience a little insight and knowledge about my life. It also has a message in the song stating that it’s never too late to change your lifestyle into something productive and positive. It’s also in dedication to my grandmother who passed away a few years ago and she has helped me through many of my life problems and gave me support and believed in me when I needed it the most. I hope everyone enjoys this track and maybe it can help other people struggling by helping them achieve their goals or dreams.”
