“Slappers, bangers and trunk rattlers” are so overrated and easy to emulate. Which is what makes Chuck II’s trunk-rattling slapper “Murder Scene” bang so hard.
Instead of aimless spitting, the Bay Area representer (by way of E-40’s dominion of Vallejo) puts in work with well-manicured rhymes, a cool-as-autumn drawl across the track produced by No Luck and packages it all together with a thread of undeniable personality.
The lyrical 187 earned Mr. Deuce a top spot on the recent HipHopDX #LitnessTest.
