San Francisco-based artists and activist Hazel Rose enlists the help of Yung Cutt-E and producer !llmind for “Riot,” a single about the battle we face as humans to overcome everyday obstacles.
As explained in a press release, “‘Riot’ is not about breaking windows. It is about never backing down, for the sake of the future, and in honor and mourning of the past. It is about seeking within, and among community, for the tools that will ultimately win over the war that is being waged. It is our responsibility to protect each other and the populations who are being most hatefully targeted, and we must take action with more than just our words every day. We stand together and all are needed. Fear no evil—love is the true thing.”
