New Jersey-based MC Herb Sims has shared the single “OMG (Plug Talk)” featuring New Jersey rapper PHITTED and Boston native Gio Dee. Sims’ EP, Daily Finesse is coming soon. The 26-year-old artist and audio engineer was born in San Diego and raised in New Jersey.
“Th EP explains my journey of trying to make it in this world,” Sims tells DX. “I got the title from going through day to day situations—the good and the bad—and making the best out of them. Music has been around my whole life. I can’t go a day without hearing some type of rhythm. I get inspired by all creative things—not only music. It could be art, words of wisdom, or just a natural environment I’m around for the moment. That is how I keep my sound original, and stand out from all other artists—staying true to myself and never trying to be something I’m not.”
