Rapper Danny Brown shared the brooding track, “Rolling Stone,” featuring Petite Noir this morning (September 15) during an episode of NPR‘s Podcast, “All Things Considered.” Two weeks away from the release of Brown’s Atrocity Exhibition album, he’s already shared “When It Rains” and “Pneumonia” from the 15-track project. With guest spots from Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Kelela, B-Real, and more, the album is guaranteed to make some ripples.
In addition to revealing “Rolling Stone,” he also touched on the profound effect Nas had on him and the song that got him into rap music (“The World Is Yours”), the music he listened to growing up in Detroit, and the art of storytelling while giggling a lot.
“Rolling Stone” starts around the 26-minute mark.
