HipHopDX Premiere: Hailing from Dallas, Hip-Hop/Neo-Soul artist Coach Tev unveils his third track of the year, “Class of ’82.” More abrasive than previous releases, it’s littered with controversial content like, “Fuck a black president if he can’t get our rights up/we gon’ run up in the oval office bitch and light it up.”
Produced by Chudi and featuring B.Anderson, “Class of ’82” is created by University of North Texas graduates, who clearly put their education to work. As Coach Tev states in a press release, “Some say the key to stepping out of oppression in the minority community is education, but sometimes this makes you even more of a target.”
