Birdman and the rest of the Cash Money team are set to reunite at Essence Fest in New Orleans this summer.
Celebrating the iconic record label he co-founded with his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams, Birdman and Cash Money artists past and present will take to the stage in their hometown in July.

Billed as “Birdman presents 30 years of Cash Money Millionaires,” it has not yet been confirmed which names will join the label boss for the performance.
“The most anticipated reunion goes down at this year’s ESSENCE Fest. You asked, and we delivered,” read a post on the festival’s Instagram page.

“For the love of CULTURE. For the love of US. For the love of the 99’ and 2000 — The Takeover has begun. Your July 4th weekend plans have just been confirmed.”
Tickets for ESSENCE Fest are available here. The rest of the lineup will be announced at a later date.
Despite the uncertainty over who will actually be appearing at the festival, a Hot Boys reunion has long been teased now that B.G. is out of prison and Birdman and Lil Wayne are on speaking terms again.
Juvenile recently assured fans that the reunion would happen.

“No negativity from me, man,” he told TMZ. “You know, with me, I’m always like, ‘It’s gon’ happen.’ It’s gonna happen. We gotta let them simmer down a little bit. But trust me though, it’s happening.”
Juvie’s comment about simmering down was a reference to the apparent tension between B.G. and Lil Wayne.
Back in January, the former made it clear that he wants the rap group to re-form even though he dissed Wayne.
“Say Juvie, there’s people on my line, man, about this Hot Boys reunion,” he said in an Instagram video. “Weezy, stop playing, man. It’s a big bag involved, man. Ya heard me?

“I know you super rich. I know you like Taylor Swift outchea. Come on, man. Stop playing, man. Let’s get to this bag.”
After also taking a shot at Weezy on “Gangstafied”, B.G. then attempted to clarify his relationship with his former label mate.
