Young Thug has admitted that losing his Lamborghini as a result of YSL’s RICO case hurt him.
In a snippet of a new collaboration with Quavo tentatively titled “Yes Ma’am,” Thugger can be heard rapping: “I’m in a jiggity-jam / I lost a goddamn Lam.”

When the Atlanta rapper was arrested in May 2022, police seized a large amount of his possessions including luxury cars, jewelry and over $100,000 in cash.
Thug had petitioned for the return of the items, though only his jewelry was released from police custody. Rather than being given back to Thug, however, they were sent to jeweler Rafaello & Company.

“Yes Ma’am” also finds the YSL leader making an apparent reference to his jail conversations with girlfriend Mariah The Scienstist, spitting: “She got a question for me / ‘Daddy, I’m him?’ Yes, ma’am.”
In a phone call between the couple that leaked last year, Mariah repeatedly called Thug “daddy” and asked him questions like, “Am I your baby?”
“Yes Ma’am” is only the second new song that fans have heard from Young Thug since his release from jail last October after agreeing a plea deal in his RICO case.
At the top of 2025, the 33-year-old contributed a guest verse to Lil Baby‘s “Dum, Dumb & Dumber,” which also featured Future.

He addressed his two and a half year stint behind bars on the track, braggadociously rapping: “Yeah, n-gga, King Spider back / I don’t even believe I was locked up, for real, for real / I was havin’ my way the whole time, fool, you know what I’m sayin’?”
A full-length project between the three Atlanta titans is in the works, according to Baby.
“Me and Future were working on a joint tape. We damn near got the joint tape done,” he said in a recent episode of Spotify’s A Day in the Life series. “And now Slime came home, you know he ain’t goin’ for that. He was likem ‘Shiiit.’
“It was actually Thug’s idea. When he was in jail, he was like, ‘Aye, call Pluto. I want y’all to do a tape together.’ He damn near named the tape and everything — this was before he got out.

“Now that he got out, he’s like, ‘I’m on on the tape’ [laughs]. We might have something big in store on that […] Thug is a lab rat. all he do is stay in the studio. We’ve already made 10 songs together.”
Thug also appears to be working on a new solo album — his first since regaining his freedom — with frequent collaborator Metro Boomin one of the names involved.
