Young Thug Clarifies Statements About There Being No Real Gangstas In The UK: ‘I Know Real Gs Out There!’

Young Thug’s comments on the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast continue to get him in hot water, this time with people in the United Kingdom. During a portion of the interview with Gillie Da Kid, Thugger was asked about his love for Florida rappers and what grabs his attention.

“It’s just that struggle, like Zoe shit,” Thug said. “It’s real when it come from them n-ggas. It ain’t no n-gga from muthafuckin’ London or Paris with with gotdamn green eyes talkin’ ’bout where he came up at. Man, yo ass prolly gotdamn been living in penthouse suites and hotels. You ain’t did nothin’.”

It didn’t take long for the criticism against UK rappers to return Thug’s way. On Sunday (January 3), the Slime & B hitmaker took to Instagram to clear up his statements and once more explain who he was referring to when stating there weren’t any gangsters in the UK.

“On this interview with my n0gga Gillie, when I was talkin’ about the fuckin’ overseas n-ggas? N-gga, I’m talkin’ ’bout the muthafuckin’ middle class white guys and shit like that,” he said. “N-gga I know real G’s out there, n-gga. I fuck with real G’s! My muthafuckin’ n-gga Gibbs, all these muthafuckin’ n-ggas, Skeptas, all them playas? I fuck with real G’s.

“These n-ggas handlin’ they business smokin’ shit. I got plenty gangsta stories about these n-ggas. I’m most definitely not talkin’ it’s not no real gangstas out there. N-ggas real deal out this muthafucka. My muthafuckin’ twin 21 got family out there steppin’! King steppin’! I know real steppers out there. There’s no way possible I’m saying there’s no G’s out there, them n-ggas handlin’ they business. I’m talkin’ middle class.”

The latest round of comments from Thug come less than a week after he went viral for carelessly suggesting he had more stadium anthems than JAY-Z before walking it all back.

Young Thug Blames 'Internet Shit' For Blowing His Controversial JAY-Z Comment Out Of Proportion

Thug’s instantaneous backpedal on the Hov comments didn’t stop people from making it a hot button issue and defending the Brooklyn legend’s honor. On Tuesday (December 29), Thugger took to Instagram to do a little damage control, chalking the entire situation up to “internet shit.”

“Don’t have Jay-Z on me cause of this internet shit,” he wrote. “I was talking too fast but y’all know what I meant.”

    1. One of the cool things about the UK is they dont play the race card out there. Over there your skin color really doesnt matter. If you hard you hard. They aint on the same shit we be on in the US.

      1. We make money. Stay low key and drink tea. Any we don’t play that mad shit in jail here either you know what I’m saying. And another thing we don’t snitch out here. We have the rite to remain silent when arrested. So keep it shut rap snitches!

      2. That’s a damn lie. Have you ever been to London? Or anywhere in Europe for that matter? Stop with the bullshit.

    2. All he has to do is think before he blurbs out nonsense. Simple as that. Pay attention to the convo, sthu, process the info (in his case, a required 3 times should be minimal), and engage. He just talks to talk and now it’s so bad that he’s backtracking on silly comments he made on his previous interview. These are our heroes.

    3. real gs wear skirts? real gs iliterate? man im old thoughts gs moved brix moved in silence and their most valuable asset is keeping their word

    4. This h0m0seksual man is 100% right – there are gangsters in Uk – remember when the Dipset guys were kidnapped by London thugs? They were holding Juelz and them hostage over there. There’s videos of the situation on your favorite free video platform that we all know.

    5. Why he backtracking on what he said? Be a man and stand behind what you say smfh. Young Thug is a weirdo but he right about these uk lames. Trying to emulate US dudes style, using our terms in they lyrics haha. Plus that corny Music they make with those goofy accents is pure trash smfh

    6. Thug always backtracks on the things he said the fuck??? Always saying some gangsta shit then goes back on it and says sorry i spoke too fast like when he said hes better than jay z
