Young Scooter has put N.O.R.E. on blast for stirring the pot by claiming Future is unhappy about Drake and 21 Savage‘s joint album Her Loss.
The Freebandz rapper went after the Drink Champs host on his Instagram Story on Thursday (January 26), accusing him of “hating” on his longtime collaborator and childhood friend.
“I heard NORE got [eggplant emoji] in his a$$ this just wat [I] heard stop hating for veiws [sic] boy,” he wrote.
The vicious social media jab came on the heels of N.O.R.E.’s guest-hosting gig on The Breakfast Club earlier this week, where he gave air time to a rumor that Future was upset that Drake and 21 Savage made an album together last year.
“I heard there’s a big rumor that Future is not too happy with this Drake and 21 Savage album, and it makes Drake and Future’s album [2015’s What a Time to Be Alive] not as important, I would say,” the Queens, New York native said during the “Rumor Report” segment.
“This is allegedly, this is all rumors, I’ve never heard it from Future’s mouth, never heard it from Drake, never heard it from 21, but it’s an alleged big rumor that’s going on right now.”
N.O.R.E. went on to say that Future’s alleged feelings are understandable considering most top-tier rappers tend not to follow-up collaborative projects.
“We’ve never seen JAY-Z do another Best of Both Worlds,” he said. “We’ve seen Watch the Throne, but that was an equal [pairing]. And even that Jay Electronica [album] was credited as the album, like there’s certain songs that don’t even say ‘featuring JAY-Z.’ So it’s different.”
He continued: “When you do a whole album with 21 Savage — and with all due respect to 21 Savage — it’s like, you’re putting 21 Savage on that level now. Even though he probably was on that level, but now, you’re putting him on the level of Future. And Future is arguably one of the most influential artists ever.”
Co-host Charmalagne Tha God wasn’t buying N.O.R.E.’s theory, though, and said he doesn’t believe Future is “petty” enough to hold a grudge over 21 and Drizzy working together.
Neither Future, Drake nor 21 Savage have addressed the speculation as of yet.
Anybody that claps back using a gay reference negatively tend to be closet gays themselves. Uncalled for…but hilariously enough, I didn’t know this guy existed until this article. Sure says a lot.
