Wendy’s Twitter account is often cause for discussion. The fast food chain loves hopping into the pop culture space, stirring up all kinds of controversy for their expert trolling jobs.
On Tuesday (October 20), a Twitter user challenged Wendy’s to name Top 5 Things Eminem’s afraid to Diss (side note: when has Slim Shady been afraid to diss anything?), to which Wendy’s account replied, “please don’t make him do it, my pop punk album to recover after his diss isn’t ready.”
The Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem beef captivated the Hip Hop community for months in 2018 after Mr. Marshall Mathers threw the first shot on the 2018 Kamikaze track “Not Alike” with Royce Da 5’9.
“If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun,” he spit. “And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly/I don’t use sublims and sure as hell don’t sneak-diss/But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie,” a reference to MGK’s 2012 tweet calling Em’s daughter “hot.”
MGK, who certainly wasn’t the only rapper caught in Eminem’s crosshairs on that album, fired back with “Rap Devil” and it was on. After careful consideration, Eminem decided to return fire one more time with “Killshot,” which appeared to do just that. The video broke a YouTube record for most views in a 24-hour period and currently sits with over 363 million views.
Meanwhile, MGK continues to talk about Eminem over two years later — at concerts, in subsequent songs, during interviews and on Instagram. In September, he claimed he couldn’t “relate” to Slim Shady, telling famed radio host Howard Stern, “I don’t feel any type of way about it. I’m like asleep on my tour bus and this fucking guy drops an album with like three songs consecutively talking about me.
“What the fuck you think I’m going to do, just fucking roll over and go back to sleep? I said what I said. Respect the fight, that’s it.”
He added, “I’m just a different type though man. I’m all about putting my arm around people. I’m not with doing this to people, so I can’t relate. The last thing I wanna ever be is an angry legend.”

Wendy’s “pop punk” reference is a nod to his genre-jumping career. His latest album Ticket To My Downfall led to accusations he had to leave rap after Eminem ran him off. The company’s tweet caused quite the stir on the social media platform. Check out some of the reactions below.
