Travis Scott Explains “Rodeo” Release Date, Standard & Deluxe Cover Art, Tracklist & Album Stream

Travi$ Scott’s debut album, Rodeo, was released today (September 4) as promised.

The deluxe version has 16 songs with features from Future, 2 Chainz, ScHoolboy Q, Kanye West and more. The standard tracklist has been updated below to reflect the features.

In June, Grand Hustle boss T.I. said that Scott’s debut album would be comparable to that of Kendrick Lamar’s.

“It’s probably going to be one of the most talked about projects and probably one of the most highly revered solo albums probably since Kendrick,” he said.

Travis Scott has revealed the tracklist for Rodeo. The rapper took to Twitter yesterday (August 25) to share an image of the back cover of the standard edition of the album.

The standard edition is slated to have 14 tracks, including the single “3500.” There are no features listed, but the version of  “3500” previously released had an appearance from Future and 2 Chainz.

In another post, Scott says the deluxe version of the album will have 16 songs.

Travis Scott has released the cover art for the standard and the deluxe versions of his forthcoming Rodeo album.

On his Instagram account, Scott says that the project is still slated for a September 4 release.

Travis Scott announced yesterday (July 15) that his Rodeo album will be released September 4, according to Hiphopnmore.

Scott made the announcement during a secret show in New York City.

Travi$ Scott revealed details regarding Rodeo, his follow-up to 2014’s Days Before Rodeo, in a new interview with CR Fashion Book.

“It’s like a Beyoncé concert,” he told the publication, whose staff had never been to a rodeo. “The carnival, the livestock, and the show are all parts of the event. I feel like that’s how my life is. The carnival is like my imagination—it’s the drive behind my vision. Even though I don’t feel like I’m at a point where my shit is at an all-time high, we’re working to get there. We are working to get to the level of where your magazine is and to stand on that level. The livestock show is the road to get to where I’m going. At this point, I’m riding a bull for just eight seconds and it’s hard as fuck. But we made it.”

The full exchange chronicles $cott’s rise in the Hip Hop industry, dating back 147 weeks, when T.I. first reached out to the rapper.

In addition to his Rodeo analogy, $cott gave the fashion-forward magazine some insight on how his sartorial interests began.

“My mom worked for Louis Vuitton,” he said. “She was a retailer. So she always dressed me in shit. But I didn’t understand it when I was little.”

As he got older, $cott says he “looked up to [Kid] Cudi a lot and Western movies.”

Now, he is aiming for a house in Toronto and the opportunity to score movies.
