A Baltimore, MD high school was awarded with a visit from Schoolboy Q on Wednesday (March 11), after it won Get Schooled’s National Attendance Challenge.
Students at Maritime Industries Academy High School reached their attendance goal by raising it 10% this semester and were rewarded with the TDE rapper as their Principal–for–the–day.
Q played basketball with the students and spoke to them during a question-and-answer period about the importance of believing in yourself.
When the event was over, Q took to his Instagram account to share an image of himself among the students and a caption with his sentiments regarding the day.
“Had a great time witH @GetScHooled and tHe students of Maritime Industries Academy in Baltimore today! Keep up tHe good work,” he wrote.
