Tech N9ne Teams Up With Strange Music Compadres For “Collabos: Dominion” Album

Tech N9ne and his Strange Music mates are back with a hefty 24-track album, Dominion. This is the latest installment of the independent titan’s Collabos series.

The group previously released “Drama” with Tech and Krizz Kaliko as the lead single for the project. Ces Cru also makes an appearance with its members Godemis and Ubiquitous each having solo features. Same for ¡MAYDAY! and Wrekonize who spit rhymes for two solo songs. Darrein Safron, Stevie Stone and Murs all help carry the Strange Music flag while Brotha Lynch Hung, who assisted Tech on The Strictly Strange 17 Tour, joins the ride.

The label’s last Collabos project was 2015’s Strangeulation Vol. II. Tech released his own album, The Storm, in December.

    1. Tech N9ne makes school shooter music tbh.
It’s sad for someone over the age of fifteen to still be listening to him.

        1. I love how when someone makes fun of a rapper that’s considered “lyrical” (Tech N9ne isn’t lyrical, he just raps fast) it’s automatically assumed they listen to Lil Yachty. How does it feel to be such a shallow human being that you only listen to one specific type of music? It must be utter hell to be around you at any time.

    2. I love how Strange Music got all this independent money and they still put out the cheesiest cover art. Shits on some 1994 rap compliation b.s. You can tell someone spent no more then 5 minutes desigining that horrible album cover. Go Strange! Lolol

    3. I guess all the Strange Music stans aren’t gonna poison the comments with their stannery this time.

    4. Whats up with the haters in here? Mostly from sour black racist. Whats wrong Racists? Are you mad he’s not one of “you” rapping about Drugs, Hoes, Strippers, Money, etc? Are you mad that he actually uses Words and really Raps? Yep

      1. Tech raps about all that shit too, Stanley. And every rapper uses words, some say them more incoherently.

    5. Damn it seems like the only people who are commenting on this are blind tech n9ne haters who are saying he sucks and isn’t lyrical and oh yeah and they aren’t only attacking tech n9ne but his fans also and calling them stans look jus beacause someone like an artist a lot doesn’t mean they are obsessive tech n9ne’s music has helped me through anxiety and depression even suicidal thoughts and for you call his fans school shooters mean u guys are The ungrateful ones oh yeah and if u think lil Wayne, Kendrick, or g waxy are good rappers you need to get educated

      1. You a stan. And guess what? Those three rappers you listed, Tech is a fan of them. Does he need to get educated?

    6. Dude puts zero effort in the garbage 30+ song albums he puts out every year, not even Strange Music fans are gonna like this trash. Murs needs to get off this atrocious label fast, and who the fuck designed that cover? looks like a poster for a Playstation 2 game, not an album in 2017. Step your game up or just fuckin leave Tech N9ne, you’re just not good enough.

    7. What I don’t like about tech fans is that they are not fans of Hip-Hop. They’re outcasts, and identify with that aspect of their life moreso than with Hip-Hop culture. This dude Tech has had a rough life, and a lot of people could identify with that back in the day. Now for the last couple years he has been branching out, changing his sound, writing more positive, fun, and upbeat shit – and all those depressed ass people are still depressed ass people. Misery Loves Company, and a lot of techs fans don’t want him to shine. In music Its important to grieve together, but even more important to heal together and grow up. Now that Ive talked about the white folks, Ill address you black folks as well. Stop labeling this dude as a devil worshipper/ school shooter type rapper. He wrote like one pseudo-horror-core album and an EP. (Which was fire, by the way.) Hes got an INSANE delivery, decent lyricism, a good sense of humor. Yall are missing out on one of the most talented rappers out there, and hands down the best stage show in Hip-Hop, period. He is revered and respected among Hip-Hop’s greats as well as new artists. I always have wanted to see more brothers out at tech shows – as a white dude who loves hip-hop, its frustrating when you feel like the culture ain’t around you at a hip-hop show. Id gladly replace all the overly masculine crazy white kids at his shows with some new blood anyway. At this point, old fans are just holding tech back. That aside, this album was dope. Every artist on the roster was really in their element, I felt, and they were able to actually work together creatively rather than just rap over a generic cypher beat. I don’t know how you can hear a track like Morning to the Nightfall, or Wheels Like Hill, and say that this album was shit. This album had a ton of tracks, all with really quality/unique production. The only one Id say I wasn’t feeling was the track with Ryan Bradley. Pick this album up!

    8. The Tech hate that’s based on nothing here is really ridiculous
Tech is my personal favorite rapper, but I couldn’t stand this album. I like maybe 5 songs out of the 19 on here (skits don’t count)
Safron is a horrid singer, Mackenzie and the pop oriented stuff on here were so uninspired.
Tech doesn’t need to get personal, his bangers like Like Yeah are fantastic songs, but that type of shit wasn’t on here.
Fish on a Pita? Wheels like Hill? Come on
The last 3 songs were great though
