Social Club Misfits Take Fans On “The Misadventures Of Fern & Marty” With New Album

Social Club Misfits are taking their first swing on the main stage as they released The Misadventures of Fern and Marty album today (January 13).

The duo — made up of FERN and Marty Mar — signed a deal with Capitol Records last year after building their brand on the independent scene as simply Social ClubThe Misadventures of Fern and Marty features Andy Mineo, Amari and Wordsplayed.

The lead single for The Misadventures of Fern and Marty was “Pop Out Revenge,” which the duo told HipHopDX in November wasn’t exactly representative of the entire album as they shared their view of how they weave faith into their music.

“We’ve been able to be blessed, be versatile and put together some good songs regardless of the genre or market we’re in,” FERN said. “We’ve never been biased. We’ve been pretty open and firm in our beliefs and values. Those never waver. We just want to do music that’s fun for everybody because we want to bring fun back. But at the same time, we want to do quality music that’ll be respected in the mainstream and be quality to the people who look for quality music.”
