Snoop Dogg Is Apparently On An Ad Bender

It’s Sunday night and everyone is watching television, dreading the Monday morning hustle. Suddenly, a familiar voice comes on the TV and it doesn’t take long to determine it’s the one and only Snoop Dogg, starring in multiple commercials that air the same night.

The D-O-Double-G has seemingly been on an ad bender as of late, starring in commercials for General Insurance, Tostitos and Dunkin’ Donuts.

The “General Low Rider Commercial” stars Snoop driving the animated “General” around in a pink low rider and rapping the company’s jingle.

Meanwhile, Snoop joins his Potluck Dinner Party co-host Martha Stewart to plug the Tostitos brand. Stewart’s job is to push Tostitos creamy avocado salsa, while Snoop is tasked with promoting the Tostitos strips tortilla chips.

Naturally, their effortless chemistry is on display. Snoop says, “They’re good apart,” to which Stewart says, “But better together.”

Snoop adds, “Pass me some of that green stuff.” He then reminds Stewart not to say things such as “Fo shizzle.”

Finally, the Dunkin’ Donuts commercial — which originally debuted last November — finds Snoop serving up a plant-based sandwich called “The Beyond D-O-Double-G.” The sandwich was only available for a limited time but still put Snoop’s acting chops to the test.

    Revisit it below.

      1. Who did he sell out, lmfao? What was he ever selling besides an exaggerated to the point of caricature version of gang culture in the early nineties? He’s been talking the same exaggerated pimping and gangbanging shit every single album, including his last. So, what he also gets some checks for his family now? I just don’t get how that equates to selling out when there has been no change in his frequently vile content.

Save words like sellout for when Talib Kweli starts talking about sipping lean, or when Chuck D. starts telling rappers to embrace ten album deals from major labels.

        1. How does snoop equate to selling out? How bout when he went from gangster rapper, to Nickolodeon, back to gangsta crip, then to “Snoop Lion”, making songs like “no guns allowed”, proclaiming himself to be the reincarnation of Bob Marley? It’s like how Eminem is all anti gun in 2020, yet caught an illegal firearms charge a decade ago, and has rapped out being obsessed with guns his entire life, and even had multiple instances where he pulled a loaded gun on other people. Point is, Snoop IS A SELLOUT! He will do anything for a paycheck. If Tupac wasn’t killed, Snoop would’ve went down ages ago. PAC was real, Dre n Snoop were phonies, and it’s disgusting that they use Pac in his death to build themselves up. Like that Pac hologram? Bro, Pac hated them… That’s BS for them to use him.

          1. Except he’s never, ever, ever talked about anything real, so why on earth would any one care if he told a different genre of lie?

Snoop was a caricature of gangsta rap starting with his debut album. He did anything for a paycheck back then. His lyrics weren’t real back then, and got even more over the top as early as ’96. Remember, Snoop’s Upside Your Head? Please. That shit was “real.” GTFOH.

          2. Being real is providing a comfortable life for your family. If you grew up in poverty you should be upset with your parents. If you are struggling to make ends meet work harder.

            1. Making money isn’t “being real” lmfao. So, now every rich person is “real”? Being wealthy means you can’t be a sellout? Or a lying snake in the grass? I have no problem making ends meet. I’m doing very well for my age, and I am happy. But I call em like I see em. If Tupac was alive, Snoop n Dre wouldn’t have careers.

      1. Nah, Snoop is very rich… Unless all his money is tied up in debt, which is completely possible… But I just think Snoop is the biggest sellout in hiphop history. He’s the kinda sellout where Call Of Duty could say “hey Snoop, we want you to make a rap album soundtrack for us, $5 million good?”. And you know he’d do it… And that’d party why his music has been terrible for so long. Snoop was super dope from 92-98… Not so much after that. A great emcee wouldn’t make an album for a video game, that’s just corny, and to a great artist, underwrites their actual great work.

        1. How do you make your living? He is an entertainer, so he entertains. If he was selling drugs you would complain, but he is selling music and potato chips and you’re complaining about that. What is wrong with that picture.

          1. I don’t like snoop, because he is a lying, phony, fake ass mofo. There is a reason Tupac hated Snoop and Dre before his murder. They were SNAKES. Snoop is the biggest phony in rap music. I dislike when he raps about loving guns, then makes anti gun songs, then talks about the children, then talks about shooting up his hood. He’s a joke. Never progressed artistically at all.

    1. Y’all are so dumb saying snoop is broke or a sell out cos he featured in a commercial for a food company I mean where you’re brains all at? What does being gangster have to do with being on Nickelodeon. Cos he’s a rapper mean he shouldn’t have a soft side or what? You’re making hip hop so distasteful and it’s just like any other genre I.e music to enjoy nothing more.

    2. Lol at the comments. If some company offers you a $100 000 for a days work, possibly 2 days are you gunna say no? If you answered no. Go face the wall, You lil niggas on detention.

      1. No shit, someone who works a 9-5 to make ends meet, and will never have $1 million in their hands in their lives would do a commercial for money like that. But Snoop is worth $135 million, and has become large enough of an icon to sell whatever he would like to himself. Big difference between a multi millionaire doing anything for money, and essentially a poor person doing anything to make an entire years work in a day.

    3. Lol, all you broke people always get mad when someone else is making that money hahahaha! Poor whiny b.itch.es 🙂

    4. He is either seeing where he is at with the public after the Gayle situation or trying to erase the negative image it gave him

    5. The hating ass crabs are in the comments hating on snoop. Don’t worry Bernie Sanders will give you free everything if he wins.

    6. LOL…. You guys are the biggest bunch of idiots I’ve ever come across! Do you really think that a man who’s making millions, probably has endorsement deals up the butt, gives a damn about any of you little broke peons that are here complaining about a man that could care less about you?? LOL…. You sound like a bunch of jealous losers!!!!!
