RZA and Ghostface Killah are known for creating classic music together. Now, they are joining forces for a different type of collaboration.
According to Deadline, the Wu-Tang Clan members are a producing a new horror/thriller film titled Angel of Dust. Impossible Dream Entertainment’s Shaun Redick, one of the executive producers behind Jordan Peele’s blockbuster Get Out, has also signed on to produce the movie.
RZA is set to direct the film and provide the score. Matt Leslie and Stephen J. Smith, best known for writing the 2018 horror film Summer of 84, will pen the script.
The story, which was created by Ghostface and his longtime manager Michael Caruso, focuses on a teenager named Casey who is forced to grow up on the hard streets of Shaolin — a.k.a. Staten Island — alone following the mysterious death of his parents. The teen must find a way to survive everyday hardships as well as a supernatural serial killer called Angel of Dust.
While RZA and Pretty Toney are the driving forces behind the film, the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan will be involved in the movie’s soundtrack. The OST is being produced by Ghostface and Caruso.
“It’s a blessing to partner with Oscar-nominated producer Shaun Redick and Impossible Dream Entertainment, and to be doing business with my brother RZA directing is a dream come true,” Ghostface told Deadline. “Putting all these great minds to work together will be legendary.”
RZA added, “The creative collaboration of RZA and Ghostface has stood the test of time through our music. Now the opportunity to put our creative energies together onto the silver screen has arisen and I’m turbo charged. Bong Bong!”
No release date for Angel Of Dust has been announced at this time. Fans will get to see a Wu-Tang film soon though.
Showtime is scheduled to air a four-part documentary titled Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men this spring. The doc premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Monday (January 28).

Fuck a movie. We need an all rza produced ghost album. An Ironman 2 basically. With all the same features and grimey 90s era sound.
Except the Rza has no idea how to create that sound anymore. We’re better off with an album produced by Mathematics, Bronze Nazareth, and True Master.
he does know how to do it. Peep the last few tracks he did for Raekwon. State of Grace and Nee Wu. Peep the instrumentals on A Better Tomorrow. He still got it and its more thorough than anything Bronze Nazareth ever produced. But RZA just doesnt want to do it. Hez in a different place in life. He’s not the afro gold fang dusted RZA no more :/
