Royce Da 5’9 Fans Think He’s Currently Making Beats For Eminem Collab ‘Bad Meets Evil 2’

Royce Da 5’9 has the internet talking after he shared an intriguing post to his Instagram account. On Sunday night (May 10), the veteran Slaughterhouse MC uploaded a video clip of some new music he’s apparently working on.

He wrote in the caption, “NOBODY else besides Dre understands Em creatively like myself … #DoTheLonely.”

The mere mention of Eminem’s name sparked a rumor he was talking about Bad Meets Evil 2, the highly anticipated follow-up to the duo’s 2011 debut EP, Hell: The Sequel. Comment after comment inquired about the possibility of Bad Meets Evil 2 arriving sooner than later.

In a May 2019 episode of the HipHopDX video series “Crook’s Corner,” Royce revealed to host KXNG Crooked he and Em had a few songs locked and loaded.

“We got a couple songs in the vault, that we messed with, like awhile ago, but it ain’t been like an opportunity for us to go in and do nothing with each other,” he explained. “Like, I see him on the road, and I got my own studio now so I’m not in his studio as much as I used to be.

“He always working, it would literally just be for him to call, and be like, ‘Yo, let’s do this shit.’ I’d make time, ’cause I have so much fun doing it. It’s easy, it’s not a lot work, it’s one of those fun challenges.”

Bad Meets Evil was formed in 1997 after the late Proof introduced the two Detroit MCs. Following Hell: The Sequel and four singles together, the duo broke up after Royce and D12 got into a feud. It ultimately ended in April 2006 when Proof — a D12 member and Shady’s best friend — was shot and killed.

Royce has appeared on several of Em’s projects over the years. Most recently, he contributed to Shady’s 11th studio album Music To Be Murdered By on the songs “You Gon’ Learn,” “Yah Yah” and “I Will.”

    1. Dude….you’re a grown man.bragging about knowing another grown man more than anyone else…that’s kinda homo…btw Royce is just raps uncle ruckus

      1. nah…u just a white boy that dont understand what bad meets evil means for detroit and hip hop culture in general…to real hip hop heads they represent the pinaccle of word play and lyricism….but to a “guest” in hip hop on the outside looking in, that is too ignorant to understand what these 2 mean to detroit hip hop, u look at em as the great white hope…and u will still get the album anyway

        1. you’re trying to school someone but aren’t even smart enough to know the difference between “to” and “two” dumbfucks on here all all most hypocritical ignorant morons. Learn to type like a Elementary school kid before you try to be a teacher. Try to teach yourself first

      2. Y’all reaching too much. I just thing he is marketing and with his Eminem affiliation you can see site like this are writing on his post. You amateur guys don’t understand how marketing works. This is how it starts.

    2. “Following Hell: The Sequel and four singles together, the duo broke up after Royce and D12 got into a feud.” – what the fuck kind of timeline is the lame that wrote this article looking at?

    3. “Following Hell: The Sequel and four singles together, the duo broke up after Royce and D12 got into a feud.” Who wrote dis???

    4. I must say for somebody like Eminem who is claimed to be this genius and all to understand he does put out a lot of trash musically. He is a great rhymer and lyricist, but the music behind his lyrics and all etc is at times horrible. The beats he picked. Looking at his discography last decade from Recovery till Music To Be Murdered By I must say for a genius like him there is a lot of trash. Beatwise, yellingwise etc. Kamikaze had decent beats especially the first few tracks. His last album had also here and there OK beat but nothing special. His pen game is not the problem. Dr Dre needs to be more involved beat wise. Dr Dre had his parts but his albums needs more Dr Dre touches and he needs to stop singing especially his choruses are awful. He has moments on his last few albums were he sounds great, now he need to apply that to every song on an album.

      1. The only I beat that I felt was lackluster on MTBMB (to a certain extent, but not enough for me to press skip) was on “In Too Deep”. And “Rhyme Or Reason” and “Stronger Than I Was” from MMLP2 were the only songs in his catalog where I personally felt the singing here & there (like the end of the chorus on the former) wasn’t really doing it for me. But I still can see why people don’t like his singing hooks on certain songs where I love them (i.e. “Stepdad”). It’s all subjective at the end of the day, and even Em knows/says himself that you can’t please everyone. He just does what he feels in his heart as he always has been from day one because clearly he’s been listening to the criticism based off of his responses to it the past couple of years and no matter what he does there are gonna be complaints…even if the problem by popular consensus is “fixed”, so to speak. At least he was trying on these joints in particular, unlike those goofy songs on half of “Encore”.

      2. True dude’s music behind the lyrics has been trash that’s why i could never call dude goat everything you said about him is true

    5. Royce got inferiority complex or something why Royce always worshipful of dude. Em ain’t help write his rhymes or make his music. Royce been the better artist since 2004 and not close. I know he grateful but damn. Em needs to be praise Royce from saving Em from sharing verses with doodoo ass Bizarre. D12 was one of the biggest waste of a look I’ve ever seen

    6. Who wrote this? They broke up After Hell The Sequel.?.?…these things didn’t even happen in the SAME DECADE. Do a quick google search before you speak on hiphop goats

    7. Hopefully EM tells Dictator Whitmer to end the Michigan lockdown. The big ole Covid hoax of 2020. I bet out of the 89,000 reported Coronavirus deaths, only 5-10% of those people TRULY died of the Coronavirus. America is one of the unhealthiest countries in the world; these people probably died from eating too much McDonald’s every day.
