Strange Music is keeping fans busy in 2017 with a steady stream of music. The label’s latest release comes in the form of Rittz’s fourth studio album, Last Call.
The Georgia lyricist’s follow-up to 2016’s Top Of The Line is another jam-packed project thanks to its 21 tracks. Rittz keeps it light on the guest front with Hitman Shawty, Kane and Candice Freeman as the only vocal contributors. Production is handled by the likes of Michael “Seven” Summers, The Avengerz, Marz Beats and Peso Piddy.

Fans won’t be waiting too long to hear Rittz’s next LP. The Strange Music artist officially announced a September 29 release date for his fourth album, Last Call. He also unveiled the cover art for the project, which sees him posted up at the bar.
The imagery of the Last Call title is fitting as Rittz has been very open about his battles with alcohol and drug abuse.
Around the release of his last album, 2016’s Top Of The Line, he spoke to HipHopDX about his struggles with alcoholism, which spiraled into harder drugs.
“I don’t think there ever is a light out of the tunnel,” he told DX. “I struggle with it all the time. It’s weird because it’s not anything to where I go home and have this huge drug problem right, but I’m an alcoholic. I like to drink. So when I drink, I take pills for anxiety. Then I start wanting to put stuff in my nose … These are the things I use to dabble in as a kid and then when you get older, it turns into a real problem.”

I hope more people can look past the way he looks and bump this drug addict. He can really go at it.
Cant wait…..Rittz is dope and very under rated.
Rittz is my favorite out of Strange, but I was kinda disappointed with Top of the Line. It was a few songs too long and some other songs sounded the same, especially in the middle. His first two joints are sick though, especially Next to Nothing.
Rittz always delivers his best effort. In my opinion** – He has the best intro tracks on all of his albums and sets the tone for the album very high, right off the bat. Coming from someone who saw him live when he just dropped White Jesus, and never knew who the hell this guy was, I have followed him ever since, and his hooks have improved tremendously. This is a guy who has put in well over his 10,000 hours. He is a veteran spitter, no question about it. Incredible storytelling. Bravo Rittz if you see this!
I’m just done with drug rappers…… I guess I’m just done with Rap in general. I used to love her. And check in on this site almost daily. But the thrill is long gone.
